Performance: “Blow Me Away” by Breaking Benjamin 

Give an elevator pitch for your performance: 

“Basically, if you like rock metal, I’d say it’s a good performance for you. If you want to see the cool guitar, you can see mine.”

What specific qualities make your performance intriguing?

“Well, we’re one of the only rock metal players in the whole show.”

How does your performance reflect you as a person/group?

“I think we have been really big metal fans for a really long time. Especially [senior] Everett [Phipps], you can see him every day in the hallways with a metal t-shirt.”

Does stage fright impact you at all? 

“A little, but not as much because I’m playing with [Everett].

Why did you choose to try out for the talent show? 

“Because Everett convinced me. He just messaged me one day and then I said yes.”

How long have you been preparing for this? 

“About a month.”

If you could have one pet, any pet, what would it be?

“Another cat, because cats are awesome.”
