2023 Winterfest Court Q&A’s: Annie Douma

How do you feel about being on Winterfest court?

“I’m super excited. I’ve always thought it was so fun to watch the lip syncs, so I’m super excited for that, and the basketball game.”

What was your reaction to the announcement? 

“I was super excited. I was honored that people thought to vote for me.”

How will Winterfest night play out for you? 

“I think it’ll be exciting. I’m going with all my friends, so it’ll be a fun night.”

Who do you think should have been nominated? 

“Definitely Katie Romijn. She’s so sweet and kind to everyone. I think she should definitely make it onto Prom court.”

Explain why people should vote for you as king/queen? 

“Everyone on court is so deserving to win, and I would be overjoyed if any of them won.”

What is your favorite senior year memory? 

“It’s just the little things, like when I’m hanging out with my friends and having a good time. You realize that this is your last year, and it makes you enjoy everything a little more.”

Would you ever go skydiving?

“Probably not, because I’m kind of scared of heights. I might if someone really convinced me, but probably not.”
