What is the premise of your film?
“Our movie is about three guys skipping school and what they do while out of school.”
Without spoiling, what should the audience expect to see?
“The audience should expect to see [a lot] of jokes and comedic scenes given the movie is a comedy.”
How did your group come up with the idea for your film?
“The movie was mainly inspired by Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and we thought it would be more practical to do a movie centered around high schoolers.”
What has the planning and filming process looked like?
The planning process for our movie consisted of writing a script and drawing up a storyboard for each scene, and this went very smoothly. Besides some shots that we had to retake due to complications, the filming process was simple and we filmed our scenes in chronological order to make sure it flows.”
What’s been your favorite part about creating Skip Day?
“My favorite part about making this movie was getting to hang out with my group after filming our scenes.”
How did you choose the actors/actresses?
“Choosing actors was easy since we wrote our story based on characters that could be played by our production group.”
What’s one word to describe your film?
“Fun.”
