3) Why should people come out to watch Improv Central?
“It is a very unique form of theatre because you’re always used to every single production you watch having a set script and having set actions and everything is planned, but with improv, everything is made up on the spot. You really are going in not knowing what’s going to happen and not knowing what to expect. It’s a really fun element when watching it.”

“There was this one time, I think it was my sophomore year, I started having a conversation with my conscious and then my conscious had a conversation with its conscious. It was just such a strange thing. Also, this year, we did have a lot of fun in Chicago together. Me and [junior] Keegan [Redmond] did this series of photos where I took pictures of him, and we labeled them as “Man in City.” I thought it was really, really fun. I had a good time naming all the photos, and it was just really fun to look back on.”

This is new this year but it’s called Detective. Essentially, if you’ve seen Stupid Clue, it’s like that except you can use words. It’s mainly just trying to be funny on stage and being stupid, and trying to guess who killed who, where, and with what. It’s the funniest thing ever.

I think it’s definitely worth the money. It’s pretty cheap, five bucks unless you’re an adult. I think a lot of the people on stage have a lot of friends in the crowd, so if you know anyone who’s on the team come out and support them. It’s definitely worth the time and money.

I think I have a lot of funny jokes that I remember. But also I think the Chicago trip every year that we do—there’s something about it. You don’t really know anyone on the team, unless you’ve already known them from previous years or you’re already friends with them, but as soon as the Chicago trip happens, the entire team just forms an unbreakable bond. It sounds crazy, but it’s just what happens
