Jake Ball and Mitch Wilkinson vs Ottawa Hills

Junior Mitch Wilkinson got the pass beyond the three-point line and drained the shot to take the lead with eight seconds left; then senior Jake Ball blocked a wide-open layup that would have tied the game. The Rangers won the conference game 56-54 to add to their conference record.

Chris Battiste vs Ottawa Hills

Sophomore Chris Battiste got the ball down low off a sideline out-of-bounds play and made a spin move to make a reverse layup to tie the game as time ran out; in overtime, the FHC JV basketball team won a huge conference game against the Bengals. This game led the team to first place in its conference with only one game left in the season.

“It felt great to make the shot to take us to overtime,” Chris said. “The fact that we beat a good Ottawa team in overtime made making the shot even better.”

Cole Munger vs Grand Rapids Christian

Nathan Hartline, Cole Ott, and Cole Munger skated down the ice; Cole Munger got a pass on the right side and shot it top shelf to win the game for the hockey team in overtime. This win against GR Christian was a huge win for the boys varsity hockey team and one of many one-goal wins.
