Inauguration Day and its place in the classroom: opinions from our teachers
Inauguration Day was a momentous occasion in the capitol—an event with significant precedent that was produced under a warped lens this year, remaining on par with the absurdity and unexpectedness that has affected us on global, national, and personal levels over the past 12 months. Here at FHC, the sounds of the inauguration echoed down the halls as students partook in their small, socially-distanced lunch groups, and teachers were specifically instructed as to how the inauguration may or may not play into their lessons. We took the time to chat with a variety of teachers to find out exactly how they may have incorporated this event into their lessons and how they view the significance of it in relation to their students.
