Prom Court Q&As: Abby Berlin

What was your reaction to getting on prom court?

I was honestly very surprised when I heard my name. I wasn’t expecting it at all and the ‘Abigail’ through me off at first.

What are your short-term future plans?

I’m attending Michigan State University and plan to major in architecture. 

What is your favorite senior year memory?

My favorite memory has to be going up to Caberfae and Boyne [Mountain] with ski team this year. We got to celebrate my birthday at Boyne this year with the team and had a blast skiing all weekend.

What is one lesson that you’ve learned from your time in high school?

Don’t be afraid to try something new. My best memories from high school come from improv, which was an activity I tried out for on a whim.

What ice cream flavor would you be and why?

Maybe a lemon sorbet. at least that’s what [senior] Morgan [Young] thinks.

What was your favorite class in high school and why?

My favorite class was Drawing and Painting because I love art and Ms. Stynes was an amazing teacher.
