Clue Q&As: Sully Lower
Role: Mr. Boddy & Chief of Police
Why do you enjoy being in the play?
“I really love how connected the cast is. We all get along really well and support each other on set.”
What made you decide that you wanted to try out?
“A few members from the Improv team were planning on trying out, so they encouraged (forced) me to try out as well.”
Do you relate to your character?
“I don’t really relate to Boddy, since he has a very egotistical personality. I’m also not too interested in blackmailing people.”
What’s your character when you play Clue?
“I’ve never actually played the game, but I’d probably play as Plum. He looks smart.”
What is your pre-show ritual?
“[Sophomore] Charlie [Molitor] and I always sing some of Jean Dawson’s songs, in the dressing room, before we go on stage.”
What is your go-to fast food order/restaurant?
“McChicken, large fries, large Fanta, and a ton of ranch from McDonald’s.”
Is it too early to listen to Christmas music?
“Honestly, I think that Thanksgiving is a filler holiday between Halloween and Christmas. I’d happily listen to Mariah Carey on repeat rather than celebrate colonization.”
