Henrik Hoeldtke’s new song holds the purpose we are all searching for

Making his way from the bottom, TikToker and rapper Henrik Hoeldtke has officially made his mark in the music industry.

With an audience of almost five hundred thousand people, Hoeldtke has been able to make his dreams of becoming the rapper he is today come true.

I came across Hoeldtke while I was scrolling through my TikTok For You Page. I got to a TikTok of someone I had never seen before sitting beneath a lamppost, giving encouragement and truth to anyone who was willing to listen; I instantly followed him.

After seeing a myriad of his fifteen second videos, I came across one of him announcing one of his songs, “Bad Dreams.” I looked it up on Spotify, played it, and was instantly hooked to his incredible gift. I knew I was going to continue to be a fan of his.

With only six singles released so far, he has around thirty thousand monthly listeners; Hoeldtke is continuously growing his viewers every day.

Released on March 19, Hoeldtke released his newest—and in my opinion his best—song yet: “Real Love.”

Starting with a very calm and entrancing melody, Hoeldtke sings, “I found real love, yeah I found real love, I found it, I found it” in a very cool and collected voice. The listeners then get introduced to his actual tone and rapping.

His talent and his evident passion for music is easily and masterfully projected onto his listeners. His noticeable love for spreading love through music allows anyone to listen to his music and come back with a fulfilling feeling.

This song is all about fulfillment, purpose, and love. When I heard Hoeldtke and the love that is practically radiating off of him during his singing, I knew there would never be a day where I would stop listening to this song.

Before I had heard of Hoeldtke and his music, I was not a fan of rap. After hearing his music, it somewhat changed my mind. Although his music is rap, “Real Love” radiates calmness and positivity during the entire three minutes of the song.

While there is not a music video for this song yet, I can only hope that Hoeldtke makes one that truly matches the cool and purposeful vibes of this impeccable song. In January, he released a music video for his song “Stuck,” and it was amazing; because of this video, I can rest assured that—if there is a video for “Real Love”—it will be flawless.

My taste in music is constantly changing; I never expected myself to be a fan of rap. While I do not love rap, I will willingly listen to any of Hoeldetke’s masterful songs at any point in my day.

Though Hoeldetke is not incredibly popular yet, he is growing his audience not only through his TikTok but through his powerful voice and his gift with words. I can only hope that soon everyone will be a fan of him and his music, and that “Real Love” gets the recognition and popularity it so rightfully deserves.
