Club name: Model UN

Time commitment: One – three hours a week plus optional conferences.

Why someone should join: “[It’s a] great way to improve speaking/communication skills, learn about the world in a different lens, [and] loads of other stuff, but basically [it] just helps you put yourself out there.”

Prior knowledge/experience needed: None.

How to sign up: Talk to Mr. Trevor Riley or anyone that’s already involved.

Fun facts/words of encouragement for someone weary of joining: “Most people join without knowing anything and are super into it by the first conference. Even if you think that Model UN won’t be a good fit for you, there are so many ways to have fun with it; bring a friend if you’re nervous, or even if you’re not.”
