Club name: Project Charlie

Time commitment: two – five hours a week

Why someone should join:  “Project Charlie is a great outlet if you love kids and are passionate about teaching kids not to use drugs. It provides kids all they need to know about how to be safe in high school.”

Prior knowledge/experience needed: “No prior knowledge, just be passionate about teaching this topic to kids.”

How to sign up: “Sophomore year you must submit an application to Mrs. Vonck, and if you are accepted, then you become a representative.”

Fun facts/words of encouragement for someone weary of joining: “Project Charlie is about serious topics, but the environment is super fun, and the kids are great. This opened my eyes to how common drugs are among kids and really helped these kids become knowledgeable about how to stay safe.”
