He has one friend, his neighbor Mrs. Parker, (Phylicia Rashad) who is a kind, elderly woman. Unfortunately, she ends her life after having all of her money taken by a company that gains its profit off of scamming people. Adam tracks down the people who scammed Mrs. Clay with the intent to destroy and leave many dead along the way. The two main “bad guys” are portrayed as Mickey Garnett (David Witts) and Derek Danforth (Josh Hutcherson) who is the head of all operations. The film weaves suspense, violence, and adrenaline-pumping moments as Statham’s character navigates through the tiers and layers of the scamming empire, in search of taking revenge on Derek for doing such terrible things to people.
