This time I’m a senior. This is my last Countless Thanks on The Central Trend. My last time sitting for hours trying to decide who and how to thank everyone in my life.
To my parents,
I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am to have two supportive, kind, amazing parents. As I come closer to leaving for college, my heart aches for how much it will hurt to not be able to wake you guys up at 10:30 every night to give a full debrief of my day. I know I don’t always make parenting easy for you. From my numerous late stories, procrastination, to my mental breakdowns, which I only allow myself to have in front of you. Even though I may complain or seem like an entitled teenager, I don’t know what I would do without you. I would choose you as parents in any and every lifetime. You have always pushed me to success and supported my decisions and dreams. I love you both to the moon and back.
To Gavin,
I know I may not be one of yours, but whether you like it or not, you definitely make the ranks in my best friends. I hope you know how much I support you and care for you in everything, and that you can always call me, come into my room, or make me take you to go get food if you need absolutely anything. Thank you for taking the rath of my anger since I hide it from everyone else, but know that even if I’m screaming at you or hitting you on the arm for skipping a song while I’m driving, I really am so incredibly grateful to have you for a little brother. You’re the best photographer and dancer in my TikToks. Know that I always want what’s best for you, and you can always count on me.
To Grandma T.,
I always know I can go to you if I need anything. I feel bad, I am always so busy and can’t always come see you, but I really do value you so much. I love having such a close relationship and being able to come to you for advice, comfort, or just to sit and talk about everything and nothing all at once. Thank you for always being there for me and doing so much for me. You are such a large reason I am successful the way I am.
To Aubrey,
I feel like I can count on you to be someone that I may not talk to every day, but our friendship can stay just as strong. I feel like I can be myself around you, and you and I don’t need to try when I’m with you. We could sit comfortably in silence and still be good. You are so supportive and up for just about anything. I’m so thankful that I have you, whom I can count on, especially for senior year, and I don’t know what I would do without you. Also, I think I have seen enough signs for us to go back to Epcot soon.
To Josie,
You are the most perfect, fantastic person I know, and everything you do is right and everybody else is wrong. That is what you tell me all the time, and although it’s silly, I love it, and I hope you know I feel the same about you. I am so thankful to be able to gossip, laugh uncontrollably, eat food, and spend far too much money with you. You’re so uplifting and hilarious, I always feel better when I’m with you. Thank you for watching my stupid videos and letting me play Christmas music.
To Lauren,
Your laugh is so infectious, and your energy, kindness, and everything else are just as much. I love walking into dance and seeing you always have the largest smile on your face, even if you’re tired, hurting, or upset. I’m so proud of everything you have accomplished, and you are so deserving of everything. I hope you know that I’m always here for you and support every decision you make. I don’t know what I would do without you.
To Kendall,
You are my friend, and I have had you since day one. We’ve lasted through some very rough and embarrassing times, but we always have each other. Even if you may make fun of certain music preferences of mine, I know I can be myself around you, and you always look out for me and wish the best to every person. You are such a strong, kind, passionate person, and I hope that you never change in that way. Even if we go to different colleges, I hope you know I will always be here for you, and you can’t escape my hours of vlogs on Snapchat, whether you like it or not.
To Allory,
You are such a radiant person. You are so sweet and just a comforting person. I’m so happy you stayed at the studio, because I honestly don’t know what I would do without you. You are smart, beautiful, talented in every way, and kind, and I wish I could be more like you. I am already dreading next year, knowing that I will have to leave, but I will pay for your plane ticket, gas, and anything so that you can come visit wherever I end up. In the meantime, just know I am always here for you.
To Ellie,
I know we don’t get to see each other as much, but I am so thankful for you. You’re hilarious and joyous all the time, and every time I see you dance, I am awed by you. I love every time we are together, and we really need to hang out much more than we already do. I know I can go to you for a laugh or comfort, and you can make everything better, no matter what. I don’t know what I would do without becoming friends with you.
To Mr. George,
Thank you for being so helpful and inspiring. I know I have a lot of late stories, and they make your life a lot more difficult. Every time I talk to you, you’re in a good mood. I can go ask you for help, and you care and try your best to aid me. Even when I was badgering you to read my college essays, you were still willing to help and give me tips and edits. I know I don’t say it enough, but thank you for being a great teacher.
To The Central Trend,
I am so grateful for everything I’ve gained from this class. Every person leaves an impact on me every day. I can always say I enjoy my time in the class, writing, and interacting with the people. Even though I may walk in late after lingering in the halls, I feel welcomed and valued in the class, in the meetings, and when talking to people. I hope that the underclassmen in this class understand how valuable the class is and to value every day in it, because I wish I had more time in the class. Even after moving rooms, teachers, different people coming in and out, different positions, and a lot of late stories, my love for the class, environment, and people have only grown. I will always value TCT. Thank you all.
