Ty George, Sports Reporter

In a defensive battle the Rangers varsity field hockey team fell 2-1 to East Grand Rapids. Senior Elysee Gerondale had the Rangers lone goal, coming in the first half. Junior Madison Bruno missed a crucial stroke coming in the second half, keeping the overall trend as the Ranger offense wasn’t able to get it going throughout the game. This loss puts them at 4-2 and they look to bounce back Saturday morning.

With two home games at 10 am and 1 pm tomorrow, the Rangers will have a chance to turn it around after the recent loss. Their opponents are Farmington Hills and Gabriel.
