“My favorite subject is biology; I take honors biology with Ms. Butler, [and] she’s a really great teacher. My favorite part [is] the labs, and I’m really excited for the independent research project, which is a project [where] we’ll be choosing a topic and working on it. I’m not sure [what I’ll research] yet. [In biology], I really just like learning more about nature; I really like science.

I’m taking Chem 215 [next year], and I’m really excited because I’ve never had a chem class. I’m also really excited for APUSH because it’s going to be a challenge and sort of [give me] a feel for what I’m going to have in college. I’m not sure [if I can handle the challenge]– we’ll see.”
