Humans of FHC: Lake Robinson
“I play lacrosse, and when I started in first or second grade, it was really new. A bunch of my friends were all talking about it, so we all got together, and we’ve been playing ever since. I’ve been with the team ever since first grade. We’ve been together for a really long time, and it’s been really nice to be with them. It’s really competitive, and you can go really far- even professionally- with it. I’d love to play in college, but that would probably be it for me. I really want to go to [The University of] Virginia. Winning [motivates me]. We are a pretty decent group, and we’re expected to win. If we don’t win, it’s kind of upsetting because we definitely could’ve done something better. There’s always something to work on. You can’t think about the loss. You really have to focus on what you did wrong, what you can improve on, and what’s coming up next. [I’ve learned] not to give up on anything, and I have really good teammates and friends who push me to get better.”
