“Right now, I’m working on my little silhouette, and I have to write words on it to make it look pretty. I’m also taking another art class here, and we’re doing our still lifes. For that project, I’m doing Chinese food. We got to choose five things from our house; I don’t know about you, but food is life for me. I chose my favorite food, so I’m [using] the Chinese [food take-out] box, chopsticks, soy sauce, my noodles cup, and a fortune cookie. I have to draw them with the shadows and stuff for my still life. I’m excited to see how this turns out; it looks okay right now, but I think it’s going to look great when it’s done.”
