Humans of FHC: Sofia Johnson
“I started doing lesson drop-ins at the end of sixth grade. I played soccer at that time, and I was getting kind of bored with it. My friend said, ‘You should play water polo,’ and I was like, ‘Alright, fine.’ And then I ended up really liking it. I played club throughout seventh and eighth grade; this year is my fourth year. I like the aggressiveness of it. You don’t really find that in a lot of other sports. If I get a scholarship for water polo, then I’ll probably do it [in college], but I don’t know if I’ll be good enough to get a scholarship. The best part is that I feel like the team makes a family. It’s a family because everyone is friends. It’s nice; It’s a lot closer than a lot of other sports.”
