Humans of FHC: Masen Schofield

“Back in sixth grade, I was playing football. I wasn’t very good, but I tried. [During the] second game of the season, there was a dog pile, and I started running to it, thinking I could help in some way. Then, I got basically blind-sided, so I was on the ground hurting. I got up and tried to push through the pain. When the next play started, a guy who was bigger than me pushed me and spun me 180 [degrees]. I fell straight down and broke my right arm. So, that was a fun six-month recovery period. I still can barely feel my pinky.”
