On Friday, FHC track and field partook in the Gowell Miars invite in Charlotte. Starting off the day, senior Geoffrey Batterbee placed first in the 800-meter followed by teammate senior Jake Ball in fifth. Later, junior Gabe Carlson placed third in the 3200-meter. Senior Noah Stout represented for FHC in the 300-meter hurdles, he placed third. Two out of the four relays placed in the top five, one of them in fourth and the other in second.

For the Lady Rangers, senior Haily Aldrich placed fifth in the 100-meter. Senior Claire Baguley placed first in the 200-meter followed by senior Madisyn Bunke in fourth. Claire also placed first in the 400-meter. In the 800-meter, senior Courtney McAlindon placed second followed by junior Nicole Marco in third. Junior Chloe Zeien placed second in the 1600-meter. Senior Susannah Bennett was the only representative in the 3200-meter, coming in first in that event. In the 100-meter hurdles, junior Megan Raisch placed first followed by junior Olivia Jeong in fourth. Two of the four relays placed first, the others placed third.

The next meet will take place on Friday, May 10, at Ottawa Hills.
