Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour set records in ticket sales alone, selling out the entirety of her venues in less than a day. For those who remained ticketless, this day also commemorates one of the most disappointing days in pop-culture history.

Due to this massively upsetting event, fans are searching everywhere to find ways to celebrate an artist that means so much to them. Thus, the popularity of The Taylor Party: Taylor Swift Night is growing exponentially.

This unique event, which took place for the first time on Dec 3, 2021, celebrates Taylor Swift in a whole new way. Throughout the night, only Taylor Swift music is played, and participants dance to the curated set list in a high-energy environment.

Featuring many DJs throughout its time, Vox.com says, “[The event was] founded by Pittsburgh-based DJs and nightlife producers Brian Howe, Josh Bakaitus, and Steve Soboslai.” Since then, notable DJs such as DJ Bowie J and others have toured with Taylor Swift Night.

For DJs, Taylor Swift Night allows audience engagement and energy to surge to a new level, and for audience members, it allows for lasting memories. When visiting the event’s Instagram, @tayswiftnight, a sea of exciting and serotonin-inducing photos can be found, displaying how much this night means to so many.

With such photos, it is also apparent that this event was perfectly curated for the correct generation and had Swift fans in mind for each aspect. First and foremost, tickets range from about $20-35 depending on the venue. For something like this, prices could absolutely surge in order to take advantage of young fans and gain the max amount of profit possible; however, it’s clear that the correct demographic was kept in mind, and tickets are intentionally priced for the individuals they want in attendance.

Furthermore, exciting photo opportunities are put in place, and a professional photographer is at nearly every show, adding to the excitement and intrigue of the night incredibly. Additionally, merchandise is sold, and balloons are added to create even more joy in the space—all things that make the night even more of an event and create a concert feel.

Another interesting aspect of the show is the age restrictions that are placed on each show. At some locations, a 21+ restriction is enforced, and all others have an 18+ limit. For some, this may be frustrating; however, the age limits are set in place in order to maintain the safety and enjoyment of its participants, and it allows all individuals to have age-appropriate fun.

No matter what age an individual is now, it doesn’t seem like The Taylor Party will fizzle out anytime soon, so those who are too young now can look forward to the show in their futures. Overall, the event is perfect for the fanbase it’s trying to reach. Thankfully, tickets are on sale right now for many future shows, meaning more upcoming smiles and excitement are inevitable.
