“The second to last day of seventh grade I left lunch early to go set the middle school pull-up record in front of Mr. Abel. I had been doing pull-ups at my house for awhile and knew I could set it. I wanted that record bad. A group of probably 10 or 15 of my friends came to watch and cheer me on as I did it.”
