Freshmen Football obliterates Ottawa Hills 45-0
The Rangers absolutely dominated Ottawa Hills 45-0 on the road Thursday night. Sawyer Bosch continues his running rampage and Jason Downey and the defense held the Bengals to a goose egg. Sawyer ran all over Ottawa Hills, scoring 2 touchdowns for the second week in a row. Jason Downey recovered a fumble which kept the energy going, with Daniel Dykstra adding a safety to complete for an outstanding defensive game.
The very first defensive play of the game was a strip fumble by Jason Downey which was recovered by the Rangers. The first half was scoring in bunches, racking up 32 points, including 2 touchdowns from Sawyer Bosch and a Daniel Dykstra touchdown. The Rangers went to the locker room with lots of momentum. Although the second half was much slower, they still managed to rack up 13 points.
The Rangers main goal remains to just stay together, stay strong, and try to limit as many losses as they can. This win moves the Rangers to 2-1, and in position to reach the pinnacle of the OK white conference. The Rangers will be at home against Greenville next week.
