Varsity field hockey tallies up a pair of victories
Varsity field hockey bounced back after a tough loss to rival EGR with a pair of wins. In the first of the two, they beat Farmington 5-1. In the second, they beat Gabriel Richard 3-0, with both played at FHC. They held Farmington 1-1 in the first half and then put 4 more on the board in the second, dominating the entire game. In the game against Gabriel, they had no problem sweeping them the whole way. Emma Dodson, junior, said that throughout both games Madison Bunke, she is always very good at carrying the ball and crossing it over the circle.

The main goals for this team is to make it to states. The previous 3 years they have made it to state semis but never to the state finals.
Varsity field hockey has an upcoming game on Saturday at Pioneer Field, in Ann Arbor. The game is at the same time as the University of Michigan football, Elysee Gerondale, senior, said to get to their game extra early for a parking spot.
