JV field hockey finds its groove Saturday
The JV Field Hockey team played two games over the weekend. Both were played on Saturday at Forest Hills Central High School.
The first was played against Farmington Hills High School. The game was close early but the Rangers showed toughness and played through adversity to come out on top 5 – 1. They had exceptional performances from the defense in both games.
The second game was played against Grayson High School. This game was a bit of the same as the last with a defensive showdown, but it was never in doubt the Rangers would pull out a victory. The final score was 5 – 0 with the Rangers on top. The defense, again, seemed impenetrable. The Ranger defense hounded Grayson to the point where the couldn’t control the ball.
After a stellar weekend for the Rangers they remain a spectacular 4 – 0 on the season.
