JV Tennis teams cleans up NorthPointe Christian
The JV tennis team had a match at home last night against NorthPointe Christian, winning 5 out of the 6 matches. Only 4 doubles lost for FHC Wednesday night. NorthPointe only had 6 doubles flights, so the match lasted shorter than usual. Co-coaches Humzah Azeem and Mitch Timyan are starting to get a handle on their team as they move on through the season.
The doubles flights that won for the Rangers were 1,2,3,5, and 6 doubles. The 1 doubles team was Hans Seibert and Owen Thamban as they won 8-5 in a close 8 game pro set. The 2 doubles team was Nick Stockenauer and Ben Koning as they cruised to an 8-3 blowout win. The 3 doubles team that came out with a win was Shane Hubble and Aidan O’meara and they won 8-1, a very convincing win. The 5 doubles team yesterday was Nathan Jenkins and Eli Romijn. They cleaned up and won 8-6. The last doubles team to win was 6 doubles. Jordan Blum and Jannis Jacobs got the last wins for the Rangers and finished a very impressive showing by the Rangers.
