JV boys soccer falls to FHN 4-2
The Rangers had a huge conference matchup against the Forest Hills Northern Huskies, the previous matchup resulting in a Husky win 7-1. FHN drew first blood early and would find twine again mid way through the first, but FHC would answer with a Micah Gschwind goal. The game was back and forth with many chances at the goal, and the Rangers capitalized with a Richard Alvarez goal tying the game 2-2 going into the half.
The second half was all FHN as they would score two more goals to put victory out of reach for the Rangers. FHC went down swinging, as they were aggressive with their runs and mid field play. The Husky victory ends the impressive win streak of the Rangers, but the team looks to pick up where they left off playing Portage Northern Saturday.
The Rangers have six games left and are looking to finish the season out on a high note. It is a completely different team at this point, having matured over the course of the season. The Rangers are mid table in the OK White Conference and with another win streak, they could end up at the top by the end of the season.
