JV soccer captures another big win in their last game of the season
The last game of the year for the JV soccer team included a matchup against the Cedar Springs Redhawks and it was one for the books. The Magic Man, Micah Gschwind, came ready to play as he would have a three goal game the first goal for the Rangers early in the first half. Micah would find the back of the net once again right before the half.
The score was 2-0 in favor of the Rangers entering the second half and the Rangers continued to roll, with another magic goal by Mr. Magic. This out FHC up 3-0. The Redhawks would not go away, however, scoring a goal of their own midway through the second. With another Ranger goal with five minutes left, it ended the momentum of the Redhawks as the Rangers won 4-1.
The Rangers finished the season on a high note with a great win over Cedar Springs. The team’s MVP could arguably be Micah Gschwind. He performed in the home stretch brilliantly, and scored outstanding goals throughout the season. He might get the chance to show some of his magic on varsity for the playoffs.
