Freshman Volleyball destroys Cedar Springs a second time
The Lady Rangers travel to Cedar Springs and absolutely destroyed the Red Hawks winning 25-9 in both sets. Cora Kelly and Delaney Tucker were a huge part to the Ranger annihilation of Cedar Springs. Cora and Delaney were trying new things besides playing hitters, but they played very good.
The first set went good, but the Rangers got most of their points of the Red Hawk’s errors. Cora and Delaney played really hard and the whole team had great communication and teamwork, which led to holding the Red Hawks under 10. The second half the Rangers played a lot better. There was a lot of teamwork shown and the points were from the Ranger’s outstanding plays and not from Red Hawk errors. The team looked absolutely unstoppable.
The Rangers still only have one loss on the season, but they face a very tough Lowell team on Tuesday and end their season against the Ottawa Hills Bengals, both games being at home. We will see if the Rangers will accomplish their goal of going undefeated since defeating FHN at home.
