College Football Week 7 Recap and Week 8 Predictions

College Football Week 7 Recap and Week 8 predictions

This week in College Football was much like last week. Many teams were knocked out of the top 10 due to some upset losses. Clemson was shocked by the Syracuse Orange, who we all did not expect to win, especially seeing the teams that Clemson has defeated. It was a rough week for the state of Washington, as the Huskies lost to Arizona State and the Washington State Cougars lost to the Cal Berkeley Golden Bears. Auburn also took a loss on the road to LSU in the battle of the Tigers. But this week looks to have some very exciting games. But we came up with the 5 that you need to make time in your day to sit down and watch.

Michigan vs Penn State- This Saturday night is a battle between two Big Ten teams, the number 2 Penn State Nittany Lions and and the number 19 Michigan Wolverines. To the Wolverines, this is a make or break game for the Big Ten Championship. On the Penn State side, they have the best quarter-running back combination in the Big Ten but might face challenges regarding Michigan’s defense. For quarterback John OaKorn, Michigan’s offense cannot play like they have in previous games. This game will come down to who wants to win more and how your team can recover from previous losses in the past.

Prediction:

Jessica – Michigan 24-21

Tommy- Penn State 28-17

USC vs Notre Dame- This game in South Bend will be absolutely jam packed. It’s also a game that both of these teams cannot wait to play. The Trojans and Sam Darnold will look to silence the Fighting Irish at the Irish’s house. Sam Darnold looks to keep competing for a Heisman while Notre Dame looks to climb into the top 25. USC will shock the Irish on the road.

Prediction-

Tommy- USC 31-21

Jessica – USC 28-21

Indiana vs Michigan State- This should be an exciting game Saturday afternoon in East Lansing. The Hoosiers came off a tough loss at home against Michigan while the Spartans are coming off another big win against Minnesota. Michigan State moved up to number 18 in the country, but Indiana has been giving every team a run for their money as we saw last Saturday. I see the Spartans pulling out another big win in their homecoming game

Prediction:

Tommy- MSU 21-17

Jessica – MSU 21-14
