Humans of FHC: Palmer Anderson
“One time in band we had a bunch of extra time on our hands, so I was with a couple of friends in one of the practice rooms. There were a ton of these unused coat racks in there so we decided to make a sort of train with them– Mr. Ash had given us a transcription assignment, and we got them done super quickly, so we had way too much free time. We decided it would be a good idea to strap all sorts of stuff onto them and have other people pull us around the halls. I remember we put cowbells, whistles, and all sorts of loud things onto them. Once we’d connected four of the racks, we got the train going and paraded around all throughout the band hall and theater entrance. It was honestly pretty impressive; we duct taped a chair and a cymbal to one of them, and that was a pretty memorable hour.”
