Audrey’s Sports Blog: Detroit Sports
Since the Losing Lions season is over, I have now realized that I have a passion for all Detroit sport teams. So from now on I will be writing about all Detroit sports. But for this blog, I am going to be talking about the Detroit Pistons.
The Pistons’ season has been going well so far; their record standing at a solid 2-1. The Pistons did especially well against the San Antonio Spurs, winning by 14 points. With a final score of 93-79 the Pistons have proved themselves to many fans.
The Pistons played without starting guard Reggie Jackson, who had a sprain on his right ankle, and Avery Bradley, who had a sore right groin. They were expected to lose greatly, but theses predictions did not occur. Instead, rookies Reggie Bullock and Luke Kennard stepped up and secured the win.
Bullock and Kennard both had career highs points wise. Bullock had 22 points and Kennard had 20 points. Andre Drummond also stepped up for the Pistons, he helped secure the win with 14 points and 21 rebounds.
Throughout the game the Pistons held their own and they are ready to face Miami Heat tomorrow. My faith in the Detroit Pistons is very high for this season, I am hoping they will make it somewhere, and to be better than the Losing Lions did this previous season.
