When did you start playing basketball? Who got you involved?
“I started playing around second grade. My family and my friends encouraged me to play.”
What has been your favorite part of the season so far? Why?
“I think my favorite part has been our win against Northern. We haven’t beat them in forever and it felt good to get a little revenge.”
What are you looking forward to most this season?
“I’m looking forward to our chance to win a conference championship.”
Do you think the team and yourself have bonded so far this season?
“Yes, we have bonded throughout the season. I think that the Traverse City tournament was fun for all of us and brought us closer together.”
Do you think the losses bring the team closer together or farther apart?
“I think the losses bring us closer together because we don’t like losing. This gives us a chance to work together more and more at practice to fix the mistakes.”
What is your favorite drill in practice? Does it help you perform better in games?
“My favorite drill in practice is circle blitz. It really helps me personally and the team on our transition defense and offense.”
