Humans of FHC: Chloe Bergsma

“Well, we don’t do many different things. In the Netherlands, some traditions are different, like Christmas. And, I speak [Dutch] at home. I go to the [Netherlands] every summer. All my family lives there, and we’re the only ones who live here. Sixteen years ago, right before I was born, my parents moved here. I don’t have a specific favorite [tradition]. I like Christmas, and it’s a little different there. It’s in December still, but there’s a different Santa. We do both [Christmases]. Also, there’s a lot of different kinds of food that we eat. I don’t know how to explain the food, but if you go to the Netherlands, you don’t have the same food choices as here.”
