“It sounds really typical, but [the musical] is one of those things where you go, ‘oh it’s senior year, why not do it?’ I’d always talk to my sister about doing it, and she said, ‘it’s one of the biggest things I regret about high school.’ So I just kind of went into it to try something new and get out of my comfort zone for once. It’s a lot of fun. The cast is a really, really good group of people. Mrs. DeMeester is a great director for it. She expects a lot from the people that have been doing the musicals for a while, but she also expects a lot from the people that are in it. Even though it [could be] their first time, she still expects a lot, but she goes about it in a really good and easygoing way. “
