“I had a student who asked to go to the restroom because they had a stomach ache and were in, really, a lot of pain. But [the students’] homework was not done. I told him when he finishes their homework they may use the restroom, but they kept not doing their homework etc. When the end of the hour came [the students’ homework was still not completed]. And then later that night came, and they ended up going to the hospital because of their appendix– [it] burst. I felt kind of bad. They are okay, I didn’t kill them.”
