“I decided I really wanted to be a part of the school, and cheer seemed like a really cool option. So, I decided to start it. I’d done it in middle school and just really loved it. And at that point, it was a no-brainer to try it this year. We got a new coach this year, and I had so much fun throughout the whole season. I made so many great friends and created bonds with all of the upperclassmen on the team. One really fun memory was when we won first [place] in a competition that we had to completely redo because someone got hurt. It was kinda crazy, but I still look back fondly to that.”
