“[This summer,] I’m going on a study abroad trip to Italy for Michigan State. I’m taking a class there, so I get [college] credit. I thought it would be a good way to meet new people before I started my freshman year, and a lot of the people that I might not get to see on campus because the campus is so big. I thought it would be something fun to do; I’ve never been out of the country, besides Canada. [I chose Italy because] I like art, and [Italy] has some of the most famous art museums. The class that I’m taking is Art History.
