How long have you been rowing for?

“This is my third year rowing.”

How do you feel about the season so far?

“This is our best season yet. Our whole team has been working super hard, and we have a new coach that really pushes us to be our best.”

What is your favorite part of rowing?

“My favorite part about rowing is that it is the ultimate team sport. If everyone on the boat is not moving perfectly in sync the whole boat will be off, and the boat won’t be moving very fast. Everyone has to work together if we want to win.”

How did you get into rowing?

“I wanted to do a spring sport, and some of the girls on the swim team did rowing and told me I should join so I decided to try it.”

What is your favorite part about being on this team?

“My favorite part of being on the crew team is spending time with my teammates every day. I also really enjoy racing and the food tent at regattas.”

What is your inspiration for rowing?

“My inspiration is my teammates. Whenever you are feeling tired in a race you just have to look at the girl in front of you or think about the other girls in the boat and tell yourself to row for them.”
