How long have you been rowing for?

“I’m in my second year of rowing.”

How do you feel about the season so far?

“Even though we have only gone to one regatta this season, the men’s team is looking pretty solid.”

What is your favorite part of the sport?

“My favorite part of the sport is being on the river. It’s the best setting of any sport I know and makes the sport one of a kind.”

How did you get into rowing?

“I got into rowing during my first year of cross country. Two older members of the team, one a junior, now senior, and a now-graduated senior, slowly convinced me over the running season that I should join, and that it would be a good sport for me.”

What is your favorite part about being on this team?

“My favorite part of being on the team is the bond that you make with the other people on the team.”

Who or what is your inspiration for rowing?

“My inspiration in the sport is definitely the competitive part of me. Last year our Novice team wasn’t very good and didn’t get any medals, so my drive in the sport is now being able to be competitive in the sport and earn places on the podium at regattas.”
