How long have you been rowing for?

“I’ve been rowing since the fall of freshman year, but I did crew summer camps in middle school.”  

How do you feel about the season so far?

“We’ve only had one regatta so far, but this season feels really good. Our team is insanely supportive and hardworking, so I think this will be a good season.”

What is your favorite part of the sport?

“My favorite part about crew is feeling the boat glide across the water smoothly when we take good strokes.”

How did you get into rowing?

“My older brother, David, was on the crew team for all four years he was in high school, so I’ve been around the sport since the fifth grade.”

What is your favorite part of being on this team?

“My favorite part of the crew team is spending time with my teammates. The team truly feels like a big, loving family.”

What is your inspiration for rowing?

“I really look up to a lot of the upperclassmen. They’re not only great rowers and coxswains, but great people.”
