Humans of FHC: Taylor Baumgardner
“At the beginning of freshman year, I thought I had enough responsibility, and I thought I was ready to take on the responsibility of new life. No, not pregnancy, a fish. So I got a fish. I named him Om, because I’m quite the spiritual lady, and a few days later Om got moldy and died. So, I waited a few weeks and after my grieving was over I decided, ‘I think I’ve healed enough. I think it’s time to try again.’ So I got a fish. A beautiful blue fish named Karma. But all of his scales fell off and he died too. It’s been a few months, and now its second semester getting towards the end of the year… and guess what? I got a new fish. It’s been two days; he’s still alive. And even better? I just got two more.”
