Girls Varsity Lacrosse dominates Caledonia 21-3
On Friday, Forest Hills Girls Lacrosse took on Caledonia in a much-anticipated match after being rescheduled. The girls dominated the Scots by a score of 21-3 and just played a great overall team game. Senior and Kent State commit Kelli Bailey shined on the offensive side for FH while FHN junior Molly Mullet and FHE junior Erin Kloostra played absolutely lockdown defense. Forest Hills now shifts their attention to Monday’s match with Okemos, as the regular season comes to an end shortly.
The first half looked great and FH came out with fire, after losing to Rockford this past Wednesday. The Scots had no answer for Kelli’s offense and the lockdown defense from Molly, Erin, and FHC senior Lynsey Davison. FH continued the domination from the first half, and didn’t leave anything out on the field. This was an impressive win from Forest Hills after coming off a devastating loss to Rockford.
FH takes on Okemos on Monday at home. To win this game, the team is going to need to continue playing with confidence and playing smart. The team will later look in the future, where they will play Brighton and Cranbrook in the season finale.
