Humans of FHC: My’Asia Giles

“My grandma [and I] just go to Goodwill and pick up random stuff. I don’t like wearing the same thing as people because, in middle school, these girls would wear the same shirt as me, and I [would] zip up my jacket. [I would customize things when] they shrunk in the dryer, or I would use something on my dress. Like I’m different. I’m kind of weird, so I dress weird. I wear Christmas sweaters in March, and my mom makes fun of me for it. I just shop online; I don’t like shopping in stores. They don’t have anything that I like. I’m very picky. [I love] Forever 21, Hollister, and Zaful. [What my style says about me is that] I am outgoing but shy but dangerous. I wear off-the-shoulder stuff a lot. No, [I don’t like to follow trends] because I don’t want to look like anybody else. I don’t want to be a follower; I think it’s ugly.
