“This year I got pulled up to varsity for softball. It was one of the biggest moments I had this year. Every year they pull up some players for districts and to help out with the rest of the season. And the JV season was really, really short, so they were like ‘we’re gonna pull you up.’ I was really shocked. I was like ‘you must be mistaken. Not me.’ But they pulled me up, and it’s been a great experience so far. It’s been really fun. I haven’t played yet but that comes with being an underclassman. You’re not expected to play when you get pulled up but you still get to practice with them.”
