Humans of FHC: Alex Sneider
“As a coxswain, I basically act as a second coach. I steer the boat, order them around, do a little yelling– it’s a good time. My brother has been rowing since freshman year, and my mom is involved, so it was kind of expected that I’d also join the team. It’s been really fun so far, and I definitely plan on doing it in the years to follow. I love hanging out with the team and going to the regattas, especially because we get to eat a lot of food. There was this one time during practice when I was coxing a four, and the coach passed by us in a launch, sending a huge wave over my head. I got absolutely drenched.”
