Humans of FHC: Iman Hearing

“I do a lot in the art department; I really love art, and I love music. I listen to a lot of different types of music. [As for] art, I particularly like art drawings. With art, it’s just an easy way for me to express myself and show my creativity. And music, I just love listening to music. It makes me have a lot of different emotions, and it makes me feel good. All types of things [inspire my art]. One thing that is a big inspiration is music; the type of music I’m listening to can influence the art and what inspires the piece. Say I’m listening to a happier, upbeat song, then the drawing usually comes off as more happy and upbeat. But say I’m listening to a more sad, tragic song, then the drawing will be on the more sadder, emotional side. That’s where [my passions] connect.”
