Girls JV field hockey takes a win 1-0 against Ann Arbor Skyline

This past Saturday the FH JV field hockey team took on the Ann Arbor Skyline here at home. After an overall low-scoring battle, FH took home the victory by a score of 1-0.

Playing as a team is really what helped the girls obtain this win with a good amount of assists occurring during this game. Key players for the team were junior Megan Raisch, freshmen Remmie Gavle, Sophie Hartl and Julia Brown who had an assist in the sole goal of the game. This goal came from a tough play in the second half; It took a hard shot just inside the circle coming from all the way from the corner.

After being on a short losing streak the team finally gets the win they needed. Their record currently stands with 2 wins, 5 losses, and 1 tie. The team’s next game will take place Saturday 22 on the road at Chelsea High.
