How long have you been playing?

“I’ve been playing field hockey for three years now.”

How do you feel looking ahead at the season?

“I think our team has a lot of potential to improve this season. We have some really strong and talented players that work super well together. We can only get better from here.”

How did you get into field hockey?

“I got into field hockey when I was in fifth grade because of my older sister, who started field hockey as a freshman that year. I did one summer camp after her first season, and then I waited until seventh grade to play on the middle school field hockey team.”

What’s your favorite part of being on the team?

“My favorite part of being on the team is really the people I play with. I like to call them my ‘fockey family.'”

What is your inspiration for playing?

“My inspiration for playing is the feeling that I get when I play. I just release all of the stress of school and life and play as hard as I can for the 50 minutes that we’re on the field.”
