“I’ve been playing soccer since I was about four years old. I like all of [the game]. I like how hard you have to work. I love [how] your teammates are like a little family and [how] you care for everyone on your team. It’s just a good place to be.

I plan to play soccer for as long as I can. I play defense, so usually, I’m in the center of the field just trying to distribute the ball out of our end to the attacking part. I like how I’m one of the last people on the field to get the ball when they’re attacking us, and even if I don’t clear the ball out before they get a shot off, I know our goalkeeper has my back, too. I know even if I fail, my teammates won’t care because it’s just a game.”
